Challenger Division Fundraiser Golf Tournament Set for Sunday, October 8

Palomar conference has announced a charity golf fundraiser in support of the Challenger Division.  The tournament, which will take place at the MCAS Memorial Golf Course at Miramar, on October 8th is $125/person or $400 for a team of four.  All proceeds benefit the Pop Warner Palomar Conference Challenger Division for football and cheer. ABOUT CHALLENGER DIVISION
According to the Palomar Website, the mission of the Challenger League is to bring the Pop Warner Little Scholars experience to those special needs individuals that would normally not be given that chance. The Challenger program is non-competitive and no score will be kept. The games however, model after a regular game with warm-ups, coin toss, and singing of the National Anthem etc. Participation in the Challenger League is only at the request of the individual’s parent or guardian.
